With the exceptional curriculum provided by our partners, you can choose from over 200 courses to update your work skills, learn a language, work towards certification, or simply explore subjects of interest to you.

You must have Internet access, e-mail, and Internet Explorer or Netscape browser. Several courses may require you to download or purchase software. More information can be found on our partners' web site under each course listing.

Contact with the instructor can be made during the length of the course. Some courses have web-based instructional discussion areas designed to facilitate teacher-student and student-student interaction. Instructor and support staff are available to assist you with course related questions.

The registration process is easy. Make certain you complete your registration form with the appropriate course number as listed on the web site. Once your registration is processed through our office, you will go to the course web site and follow the log-in process which includes selecting a name and password.

New courses begin on the third Wednesday of every month. Select the start date you wish to take the course and include the section number on your registration.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How does the 6-week course work?
Courses run for 6 weeks and consist of 12 lessons. We also offer certification courses that have more contact hours. You access the lessons through our Ed2go website at the start of the class, choosing a time convenient for you. New lessons are made accessible twice a week during the 6-week period. You have 10 days from the release of each lesson to complete the course work, return any assignments, and take the quiz for that lesson. The final exam must be completed within 10 days of its release. A certificate of completion is available if you complete the assignments and the open-book final exam. Who is the course instructor and how can the instructor be contacted?
The name and qualifications of the instructors are listed in the descriptions of each course. Contact with the instructor can be made during the length of the course through the web-based instructional discussion area designed to facilitate teacher-student and student-student interaction. You will be able to contact your instructor during the course with any course-related questions or concerns through this discussion area.

What are contact hours and how does that work?
Courses for teaching professionals may be used towards licensing renewal requirements. Contact your local licensing agency to review the courses with them for approval. Course contact hours are estimated to be 2-hours per session. As each course consists of 12 sessions, contact hours are 24 hours for one course. Credits will be assigned by your approving licensing authority.

How much do classes cost?

What happens if I have to travel during class?
One of the benefits of online courses is that you can take it with you when you have to be out of town. If you have access to a computer and the Internet, you can access your classroom.

REGISTRATION, PAYMENT, AND ORIENTATION INFORMATION
What is orientation and how do I do it?
Orientation is part of the enrollment process for an online course and is a mandatory step for you to take any Ed2go class. You will go to our Ed2go website at www.ed2go.com/arapahoecomed and select “Orientation” from the banner. Find the course you are interested in by searching in the appropriate department or by the alphabetical listing. Double-click on the title of the course to access the information. You will see an “Enroll Now” button. Click this button to start the orientation process. Be sure to select the date you wish to start the class.

What is the User Account and Password?
You create your own user account and password during your initial orientation process using your email address and password that you create. Once you create a user account you can the same account for additional Ed2go courses you might wish to take.computer mouse

How do I register and pay for this class?
Registration and payments are made to ACC and can be done during the orientation process or through any of our regular registration processes. You can register and pay before you complete an orientation or after you have completed your orientation. Your payment should be received by our office at least 2 days before the course begins. To ensure uninterrupted access to the classroom after class begins, payment must be made to the office by Friday of the first week of class. Click on the registration link for more details.

Can I register late?
Late registrations will be accepted up to the Friday at the end of the second week of class. Access to the classroom may be limited if payment is not received the first week of class.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
What software do I need?
Internet access, email, and Internet Explorer or Netscape browser is necessary for accessing the classrooms. Several courses may require you to download or purchase software and install it before the start of class. Each course contains a description of the technical requirements, including any additional materials that may be necessary. How does the course work?
All course work is online through a unique approach that uses audio/visual with lessons, games, flash cards and reviews. You can take quizzes and tests to judge how well you are learning the course materials. The emphasis on your work environment will provide you with the key phrases and vocabulary to assist your Spanish-speaking clients.
You can access the classroom any time, take lessons at your own pace, and re-take any section as many times as you would like during the 6-month course.

Are there books or software to buy?
All courses are self-contained which means you do not need to buy additional text books or software to take the classes.

How long is a course?
Unless specified elsewhere, all courses run for six months. You are granted unlimited access to all lessons, games, tests, and reviews during the six months and can take the lessons in an order that works best for you.

Can the instructor be contacted?
If you have a question during the six months, you can contact the teacher via email.

How much do classes cost?

PAYMENT INFORMATION
How do I register and pay for this class?
Registration and payments are made to ACC and needs to be done prior to beginning your class. You will have access to your class within 24-hours of our receipt of your registration. Click on the registration link for more information.

What software or additional materials do I need?
Internet Browser Requirements
You will need an Internet browser to access the course. MySpanishTeacher.com is compatible with most browsers available today. Current tested and approved browsers include Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Mozilla, Firefox, Opera, and AOL.
