Skills You Will Need
You will need to learn medical terminology, anatomy/physiology
and pathophysiology in order to understand the disease classification
coding systems of ICD-9-CM and CPT which are used for billing
and research. Because computerized medical records will be a part
of our future, you will also need to have good computer skills.
