Help someone reach their fullest potential -- become a fitness professional today! The Human Performance major includes everything from the study of physical activity and the associated acute and chronic physiological responses and adaptations resulting from physical activity.

As our world becomes more advanced and connected and technology increases, individuals and societies can become negatively impacted. The number of illnesses and deaths from chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, obesity, strokes are in part related to personal health choices.

Our exercise physiology class took a tour of the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs

This program is designed to prepare students to transfer to a four year college or university offering majors in physical education, exercise physiology, sport management, recreation or related area. The course of studies combines liberal arts courses in health, biology, and psychology with courses in kinesiology theory and activity. In addition to providing a strong foundation in the fundamentals of movement, science, and sport the program includes opportunities for career exploration.
