Art Department

The Automotive Department is in need of qualified instructors.

Biology
Part-time instructors needed for teaching a variety of subjects including Human Biology, Science of Biology, and Human Anatomy and Physiology. Instructors with experience teaching Anatomy and Physiology are in particular demand. Responsibilities include: instruction, student assessment, occasional curriculum development, and other related instructional duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university/or equivalent in biology or closely related field
- Eighteen graduate credit hours in biology or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree from an accredited college/university in biology or closely related field
- Postsecondary teaching experience
- Experience with diverse populations
- Understanding and commitment to the philosophy, role, and mission of a community college.

Computer Science and Information Systems
These part-time instructors are responsible for classroom teaching a variety of subjects including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, A+, Networking, Security, Programming, and Oracle Database Administration curriculum. Responsibilities include: instruction, curriculum development and evaluation, advising students, student follow-up and placement, textbook selection, and other related instructional duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university/or equivalent.
- Three years of full-time work experience
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certifications MCSE, CompTIA, A+ where appropriate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field with major emphasis in computers from an accredited college/university.
- Work experience in a computer information systems related field.
- Experience with diverse populations.
- Work experience in a community college setting.
- Understanding and commitment to the philosophy, role, and mission of a community college.

Meteorology

Multi-Media/Graphic Design
Maya Instructor
Instruct students in 3D computer animation using Maya in a well-equipped face-to-face computer lab; Saturdays. Appropriate industry experience required.
Digital Animatics Instructor
Instruct students in digital animatics using ToonBoom Studio in a well-equipped face-to-face computer lab; Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Appropriate industry experience required.

The Nursing Department seeks qualified part-time instructors for Clinicals:
CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR
- Medical/Surgical Nursing -- Requires Master’s degree in Nursing, or BSN with ACC course faculty supervision. Minimum two years of clinical experience and current Colorado nursing license. Six week rotations, 16-24 hours / week.

Pharmacy Technician Program
The Pharmacy Technician department seeks to fill two part-time Instructor positions for the Spring 2009 semester. These will be late-start classes.
Applicant requirements include:
Retail Pharmacy Course and Lab
- A degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician Certification
(Pharmacy Technician training must be from an academic institution)
- Three years experience in retail pharmacy
- Compounding skills
- Excellent computer skills with a desire for some online teaching
Institutional Pharmacy Course and Lab
- A degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician Certification
(Pharmacy Technician training must be from an academic institution)
- Three years experience in institutional pharmacy
- Laminar Hood skills
- Excellent computer skills with a desire for some online teaching
