When reporting
an error to the Department of Educational Technology, please include
as many details as possible.
- Describe
what you were trying to do when the error took place.
- Include
the Course ID and where in the course the error occurred,
such as the section or page.
- As much as
possible, include the exact text of the error message you received.
- The easiest
way is to simply copy
the error message
into the body of an e–mail.
- Provide the
name and version of the
browser you were using at the time, for example:
- “Internet
Explorer Version 6.0” or “Mozilla Firefox 2”.
- Include the
time of day the error took place.

The Bb Vista software provides a variety of features and tools, ranging from being able to quickly augment a course’s interactivity through the Discussions Tool to making it easier for you to add extra materials to a course “on–the–fly” with the HTML Creator Tool.
